We had an issue with our tempering valve. We called Fixitrightplumbling. There was a scheduling issue, other than that, Brady did a fantastic and professional job, cleaned up well. Fantastic job.

Our hot water system broke down, so I called the team to explain, they had a gentleman here within the hour, his name was Thane who came to our assistance he ran me through exactly what the problem was showed me pictures of how the whole system was stuff, so this simply showed we are not getting ripped off which I thought was fantastic of him to do that, it shows so much trust and made me feel so comfortable for him to replace the system, Thane was so well mannered always asked me if I have any questions do not be scared to ask, he was very thorough and professional. The boys were wonderful. Very concerned that I understood the process of using them, what was involved in the cost of replacing the broken parts or a new hot water unit. Once the new system was installed, the boys were also very concerned with explaining how it worked. It was also refreshing to have someone concerned with trying to offer options to help ease the pain of a large unexpected bill.

We had Mitch out to replace our hot water service. He also reviewed all the plumbing in the house and spotted somethings that needed to be fixed and some goals to work towards. He was quick, efficient and friendly. Would definitely use Fix It Right Plumbing again. The people in the office are also very friendly and also assisted when I called about replacing a shower base a few weeks ago, they provided me with a great commendation for a business we will be using to replace the shower base.

Gerry and Blaze were bloody brilliant . Took their time to totally analyse the issues that we have lived with for over five years and resolved everything that previous plumber’s did not. We had our hot water system fail a few days ago and after reading a few of these highly rated reviews, we made a booking. We were seen to by Mitch and the next day, Jack, who was assigned to all the work. Both absolute super stars, very respectful and polite. We were seen to quickly, work was done promptly (far shortly than the time originally quoted). It has been amazing service from making the online booking to the completion of all the work. The email with the tradie photo and tradie bio was a great touch from and made us feel quite comfortable even either tradies arrived. Company is highly recommended and we will be sure to call them in the future for any of our plumbing jobs.

Hot water service ruptured a couple of days ago. Grabbed magnet on the fridge with Fix It Right Plumbing and sent a msg and got a reply in minutes. Jack came around within the hour to have a look. I had Josh and Tristan work on replacing my hot water system. I really lucked out with these two! They were able to fit me in the following day, which was amazing. I called Fix It Right Plumbing at 9 am in regards to a hot water system not working at my elderly mum’s house and by 10 am they sent plumber Traci Harris to check the old system. Had an old (20+years) gas water heater system fail on a Thursday. Rang on Friday afternoon and was able to have a plumber sent out within a few hours. Fixed the heater for the weekend and arranged for an instant hot water replacement to be installed Monday. Jack came out and was very professional, on time, tidy and did a very thorough job. We’ve now had 2 plumbers from Fix-It Right Plumbing; each did a great job - 4 years ago with our hot water service. This time Jack came out & fixed our blocked sewerage drain. We’d had a couple of plumbers out from other companies for this problem on previous occasions who just went for a temporary “fix” with a pressure blast. So the problem returned. Jack was able to find the source of the problem, diagnose and do a proper fix with a reline. No more problems. Clear communications all along the process. Highly recommended

Highly recommend!! We had been with intermittent hot water in our ensuite shower and no hot water in our ensuite sink for months. It was great to have Josh along to fix our squeaky tap problem. He also checked the plumbing for the whole house, and helped us with fixing our water heater too. Fix-It Right Plumbing have provided excellent service both times that we have called on their service. The first time was April last year when my hot water heater started leaking. Kyle the plumber did an excellent job replacing the heater and making sure that we were happy with the job and that the heater was working properly. I was at my wit's end when I discovered my solar hot water panels had been spewing water and called the first plumber I could find. Jim’s Plumbing sent someone from Mr Emergency who told me that the panels were broken and the only solution was to replace the water tank with an instantaneous gas heater - and the cheapest was almost $5K. With it being late in the day, the weather being cold, and needing to ensure my convalescing wife had hot water, I agreed only to find some other company delivering materials and Metropolitan Plumbing turn up to install the heater. After installing the heater I was told it couldn’t be connected as there was a gas leak somewhere that couldn’t be found and I could pay $700+ per hour to investigate. However there was no guarantee the leak could be found and the alternative is to install a new set of gas piping outside the house at a cost of $8-9K. I couldn’t afford that and we shivered through a sleepless night with no gas or hot water as I searched for another company to provide a second opinion. Kyle was professional, knowledgeable and patient in explaining what he needed to do to check for the leak, and the options available. He didn’t find any leak and took $200+ off the cost of $600+ since he did not need to go around the house or into the roof to check. He also connected the heater and ensured all the gas and water systems were working properly, and it went a long way in restoring faith in good, honest, hardworking Aussie tradesmen that had been shattered by our experience the day before. Fix It Right lives up to its Fixed Right - First Time claim and we would have spared ourselves a lot of grief (and saved a lot of money as they could have installed a similar system for around half of what I paid) if we had turned to them first.

Brendan came and did a leak detection on the whole house for me and look into a few noises. While he was there I asked about installing constant flow hot water which he installed on the spot….I’d been umming and ahhing for years so just decided to pull the trigger. Amazing work by Dave and Wade from Fix It Right Plumbing. I called them out initially to fix a gas leak, and their diligence in checking all of my plumbing appliances found I desperately needed a new hot water service, which Dave installed the very next day. They were friendly, professional, and had very competitive pricing, and they'll definitely be the ones I call for any further works! I also had Nathan come out in September 2022 to replace my toilet, and the mixer tap in the kitchen. The toilet couldn't be done straight away, but was booked in first thing the following day. Called out this company because I had a gas leak. Within 24 hours I had jack come out to me. He was on time 8.00 he called me to tell me he was on his way, I was very stressed because my gas tip was not working or the hot water and this was very worrying for me because it was near christmas. We had Kyle out today to try to fix our gas central heating and hot water service. He found and repaired multiple gas leaks in the house and was ultimately unable to get both services going again so we had him install a new hot water service. Recommendation is to get the Brivis technician out for the central heating which we have now booked. Could not recommend Kyle highly enough.

Asked them to fix a leaking hot water unit, required a replacement. They replaced it quickly, and fixed some other issues at the same time. There was some miscommunication about some pipework, I was able to call the office to get things fixed up, and even on short notice, they were happy to send someone out on Christmas Eve and rework the pipes. I'll definitely be calling these guys next time I need a plumber, highly recommend.

I had problems with my solar hot water temperature, They arrived on time and checked out what the problem might be. Adjusted temp valve and suggested the mixer valve valve might be the problem and gave me a fixed price to fix. I decided to hold off on replacement to see how it goes. Plumber said there was no charge to check for problem I was very surprised, usually they charge $120 to walk in the door regardless if they fix problem or not. I came back from holiday to find the gas hot water not working. Jacobe came round that morning and gave me several options of what was required to fix the gas hot water system. I agreed to install a new system which Jacobe did on the spot which took many hours to install. Jacobe also assisted me with other queries I had round the property which were irrelevant to what he was there to do. This was all done on the day, during the holidays and while Jacobe had a new born at home. Our hot water system broke down and within 24 hrs we had Chris and Michael arrive. The whole process was flawless from reception through to completion of the job. Regarding Michael: he was exceptional. He took off his shoes every time he entered the home. Corey again did an superb job this time. Not until the old water heater was dismantled that we found a large cavity in the external wall that was left behind in the installation of the old heater as well as the messy piping layout. It’s a tedious and difficult task to have everything fixed but Corey showed his professionalism and expertise during the process. Not only had he completed the installation of a new water heater and properly realigned all the pipes, he also worked hard in coming up with good solution in covering the cavity with a nice-looking cement sheet. It took him a long time to have the whole job completed but he never complained about it. He finished it with excellent workmanship. Very happy with the service from Fix-It-Repair. Joseph came to investigate why out hot water system stopped working. He was on time, very professional to deal with and provided fantastic service. Joseph discovered the issue was caused by the power switched which needed to be turned back on. He even took the time to look at a couple of other minor issues we had in the townhouse. Called up this morning and spoke to Claire who was helpful and upfront about how their fees work and managed to have Brendan come out later in the afternoon. Our pilot light for the hot water system went out and couldn't relight, Brendan was very knowledgeable and was more than happy to give me quotes for repairing or replacing the unit. He even waited patiently while I called my dad (the homeowner) to see what option he wanted. Once we made a decision Brendan was very quick with the repair and even explained a few things to me so I knew what he was doing. He wasn't super pushy about their membership and wasn't rude or passive aggressive after we declined to join which I think is super important as some businesses will instantly treat you differently when you don't buy their upsell. The price didn't seem too high but I haven't had much experience with plumbing services so some may think differently. Overall really happy with the service provided and Brendan's patience was greatly appreciated.

Excellent quality service. Jacob was here 15min earlier than I expected. The problem with my hot water ended up simply being that the pilot light was switched off after a storm but was concealed behind a difficult-to-open panel. 5 minutes later everything was fixed. I ended up not even getting charged. Definitely will be my go-to plumber for any jobs in the future.

I am very impressed with the prompt attention to my initial call, for keeping to your stated timeframe and most of all Daniel is very courteous, polite and a gentleman.

Joseph was terrific when he came round to look at our blocked drain and ageing hot water service. We had already received one quote which seemed very expensive so decided to seek a second. I’m so glad we did, as Joseph was able to unblock the drain so the issue was no longer an emergency, and provided a very competitive quote on the additional works required. Joseph was friendly, highly communicative throughout the process and I will definitely use his services again.

Called (Carrum Downs) on Monday morning in regards to water leaking from an old boiler system. Spoke to Claire from customer service and she was able to organise plumber-Jack to come out and assess the issue on the same day and an ETA. Jack called me up and gave me a heads up and a few hours later he rocked up on time. He made an assessment for a full replacement and did a stella job of installing and removal of the old system within 2hrs or so. He also checked all round the house for further issues. From making the phone call and install of the system, I have had a great experience with their customer service and professionalism. I would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend these guys/gals. Stay safe all!!!

Had a hot water system replaced. Was given options about which way to go with some good advice with my specific concerns. Daniel came prior to the time mentioned by the CSO but called before hand. This is my third time using Fix It Right and they are great. Daniel is a bloody champion and helps you to understand the issues and the solutions. Very personable and will of course be using them again.

It is hard when you are hit with multiple plumbing problems but as before I know who to call to rescue: FIX IT RIGHT PLUMBING of course. Our plumber was Hector. He was super helpful, installed a new boiler, fixed leaking taps, unblocked shower and every time he entered house he took his boots off, how polite and respectable and he is quite cute to. Now I can relax, have a glass of Shiraz knowing who to call in plumbing emergency. Cheers everybody!

Our hot water system died and we were resigned to having cold showers for days. We are lucky to find Chris, who was able to turn up within the hour to check the system and confirm it was a better option to replace it. Was expecting a long wait for installation but he was able to instal the system that same day. He also checked other plumbing around the house for us. I was having hot water difficulties and a dripping sink when i called Fix It Right Plumbing. They were very polite and responsive and managed to have someone out to my house withink a few hours. Aaron was great. He assessed the situation and laid out what was wrong providing me with options (and suggestions) for what needed fixing and improving. The work was completed quickly and good naturedly. I was very impressed.

We had been having issues with our hot water unit for a long time. The water wasn't getting very hot and then all of a sudden the water could not get hot at all! So we decided to call Fix It Right Plumbing as we couldn't afford to leave it like that for more than 2 days. Even though it was during the first week or so of COVID19 lockdown, we were so happy that they were able to come down on the same day as we called! They came over, took a good look, asked some good questions, and then they gave us options and prices. As we've had our water unit for over 20 years, we decided to go for a new one. It was a bit expensive, but it was worth having it bought and installed in just one hour, and they took the old one away for us. Recently our hot water system broke and we engaged the services of Fix it Right Plumbing. From the first dealings with their staff on the phone (Shenae) we felt comfortable that we were dealing with a professional, caring company. This professionalism continued after the job had been completed with Shenae being prompt and very helpful with email responses. The company sent out a Arron the next morning to assess whether the system could be fixed and if not, the cost of installing a new system. Unfortunately the system could not be fixed and we needed a new system installed. Arron provided advice of the best system to purchase, its warranty and cost. He was also able to arrange very quick delivery of the unit within an hour or so. One of the great things about Arron is his high level of attention to detail. As he was installing the unit, he discovered that it was highly likely a draft that was going to exist between the new unit and house (caused by the previous unit being embedded into the house). He gave us the option to install some insulation to mitigate this issue. The company also seems to take a holistic approach to plumbing. That being, Arron could have been satisfied that he had done his job but installing the hot water unit. However, he discovered that the overflow was not connected to any drains and was just going into a hole that looked like a drain. Arron was able to fill the old hole with cracker dust (we were given the option of concreting) and redirected the overflow to a proper drain. This prompted Arron to clean the gutters as well as put a camera into the drains to ensure that there were no blockages. Unfortunately Arron was able to detected that a tree root from a neighbouring property had caused the storm water drain pipe to crack. Arron was able to flush some of the tree root out but needed to get down to the drain and remove the root. Arron spoke to his boss and arranged for a bobcat to arrive and in doing so cut and removed a slab of concrete - while doing so, he discovered an additional slab of concrete that he jackhammered before he could dig to the drain. Arron regularly provided us updates in what he was doing (including setbacks and successes) and gave us options of how to proceed. Not only did Arron proceed to remove the root and replace the drain pipe, he then proceeded to direct the drain to the surface so that, should any issues occur with that drain in the future, access will be so much easier and cheaper. I should add that Arron needed to make a couple of trips to the local tip (some of which was due to Arron also needing to knock down a shed to access the drain - which he did completely on his own). Not only did he do this, but he invited us to fill the remainder of his trailer with general waste from our property that we might want to throw out - something he didn't need to do. Arron worked tirelessly for 4 days on fixing plumbing issues at our house. We didn't notice him having breaks across the days. It was also very impressive how expansive Arron's repertoire of general trades is - he is very skilled, knowledgable and a good communicator. Hopefully we don't need a plumber for some time now, however, should the need arise, we would be happy to contact Fix it Right Plumbing without hesitation. thanks Arron (matey)

Placed an online booking request on Saturday night to get my hot water system looked at. Got an SMS Sunday morning and after a few quick texts had the booking in for Monday morning. Chris turned up on time and walked me through a few options. He was very patient with the many questions I asked to make sure I made the right choice. In the end, even though the repairs were not too expensive, I opted to replace the unit due to its age (22 years). Chris did a great job and his workmanship was excellent. It's a bonus that these guys carry a spare unit and parts so they can just get on with it straight away. It does mean you're stuck with what they have if you want the job done immediately, but I guess you always have the option to ask for something else and schedule for another day. I'm sure the price could have been slightly cheaper if I took the time to shop around, but compared to the lost time and income I think this was great value. Would definitely recommend to others.

Called and they send James within the hour. He was very thorough with his inspection and noticed the hot water flow was a bit weak. He not only got my toilet cistern fixed which was the reason I called Fix-it but also my hot water pressure and some water taps leakage fixed too. Very happy and satisfied. I searched on the internet and found Fix it right plumbing with positive reviews about their job done. I called immediately and took and appointment for the next day. After checking on my faulty hotwater heater that was giving problem for a long time,James from Fix it right recommended to get it replaced instead of repairing, which was true. James did a great clean job and even changed my tap from my kitchen that was also declining slowly. I fully recommend Fix it right plumbing for those who are struggling with their hot water systems.
