What they rang about: The customer reported that their bathroom basin, shower, and bath were blocked.
What Lachie found: Lachie found that old galvanised pipes and tree roots invading a cracked boundary trap were causing the blockages.
What Lachie did: Lachie cleared the lines using a sewer machine and high-pressure water jetter, then inspected the drains with a camera.

What they rang about: Hot water line adjustments were requested to help with a partial bathroom renovation by moving fittings and updating pipework.
What Lachie found: Hot water piping running to the roof needed capping, alongside an aged shower breech and a pipe section under the floor that needed replacing.
What Lachie did: Hot water lines were capped off, the shower outlet was relocated higher, isolation valves were installed, and the underground pipe was replaced.

What they rang about: Hot water was reported completely out when we were called to help.
What Lachie found: Hot water failed because the gas control on the old unit kept going out.
What Lachie did: Hot water was restored with a new gas system, and Lachie also replaced a faulty shower rose.

What they rang about: The customer reported that their dishwasher was showing an error code and not draining.
What Lachie found: Lachie found rusty flexi hoses on the laundry mixer at risk of splitting and a failed dishwasher pump.
What Lachie did: Lachie replaced the laundry mixer with a new one fitted with isolation valves, and cleaned the dishwasher.

Leak detection and showerhead replacement

What they rang about: Investigated a reported ceiling leak that appeared directly below the bathroom whenever the shower was turned on.
What Lachie found: Leak detection testing revealed water seeping through the shower connection because there was no silicone sealing behind the lug elbow.
What Lachie did: Lachie replaced the showerhead, installed a pressure limiting valve at the water meter, and successfully retested the system.

What they rang about: General plumbing support was needed to find why the stormwater was draining slowly.
What Lachie found: General plumbing checks found that the stormwater system was blocked and the asbestos pipe was fully collapsed where it entered the property.
What Lachie did: General plumbing work included a camera inspection and high-pressure water jetting to clear a section of the blockage.

What Lachie did: Lachie supplied and installed a new frost valve and tested the hot water system to ensure it was operating correctly.

Replacing a Burst Water Service Pipe

What they rang about: The customer reported excessive water pooling in the front yard that was flowing towards the neighbouring property.
What Lachie found: After carrying out leak detection and excavation, Lachie found a burst copper water service pipe.
What Lachie did: Lachie excavated a trench from the water meter to the house and installed a new copper water service line complete with a pressure limiting valve and garden tap.

Toilet leak repair and flexible hose replacement

What they rang about: We were called to check a toilet leak that was tracking underneath the floor tiles.
What Lachie found: Lachie found that the rubber seal at the toilet pan connector was completely perished and causing the leak.
What Lachie did: Lachie installed a new rubber seal and resealed the toilet base, alongside replacing the cistern flexible hoses and extending the kitchen mixer hose.

Fixing dripping taps and replacing a kitchen mixer

What they rang about: The customer called after the kitchen tap spout blew off when the hot water was turned on.
What Lachie found: The kitchen tap and a second tap set were worn out and needed replacing.
What Lachie did: Lachie fitted a new kitchen mixer with isolation valves, replaced the second tap set, and tested everything for leaks.
