What Jarryd found: Jarryd found a hidden split in the bottom of the poly pipe in the front yard that had been quietly leaking hundreds of litres a day.
What Jarryd did: Jarryd cut out and replaced the damaged section of poly pipe and tested the line to ensure there were no further leaks.

What Jarryd found: Jarryd's leak detection revealed a split lugged elbow behind the shower wall causing the leak.
What Jarryd did: Jarryd accessed the pipework through the plaster, replaced the split elbow joint, and completed a thorough re-test.

What Jarryd found: Hot water flow was affected because the sacrificial anode in the aging unit had worn out and clogged the strainers.
What Jarryd did: Hot water restoration was arranged by scheduling a new electric system and an electrician for Friday.

What they rang about: The customer came home from holiday and couldn't get their gas hot water system to relight.
What Jarryd found: Jarryd found the hot water unit needed a service along with a new thermocouple and valves.
What Jarryd did: Jarryd repaired the hot water system by replacing the thermocouple, pressure and temperature relief valve, and the cold water expansion valve.

Fixing leaking toilets with incorrect flush pipes

What they rang about: The customer reported leaking in-wall toilets that needed to be removed so the wall behind them could be repaired.
What Jarryd found: Jarryd found that incompatible flush pipes had been installed, which was causing water to leak inside the wall cavity.
What Jarryd did: Jarryd removed the toilets, replaced the wrong flush pipes with genuine compatible parts, and reinstalled the pans once the wall was fixed.

What they rang about: The customer reported a recurring whole-house blockage with sewer water coming up through the showers and sinks.
What Jarryd found: A CCTV camera inspection after clearing revealed a significant break and tree roots on the sewer line in the backyard.
What Jarryd did: Jarryd cleared the blockage using a high-pressure jet and marked out the damaged section near the boundary.

What Jarryd found: Jarryd's testing showed that while the pipes and shower base were completely sound, water was actually leaking through the shower screen where it met the tiled wall.
What Jarryd did: Jarryd carried out comprehensive pressure, flood, and spray tests to pinpoint the issue and provided recommendations for resealing.

Would recommend Fix It Right Plumbing to anyone looking for Plumbing services. Great from start to finish. Admin who answered my call to book in the appointment was friendly and worked with me to find a suitable appointment date. Jarryd was able to complete the job on the same day of the appointment, which was ideal instead of getting a quote and then having to rebook for the work to be completed. After an assessment of the work needing to be done, Jarryd presented several options, explained each of them, and did not pressure me to go beyond my budget. Additionally, the company send you updates on when the plumber will be attending your home, so you can freely go about your day instead of having to wait around so you don't miss them. Happy with Fix it right plumbing I live in St.Leonards, I had a problem with my rusty galvenised pipes & my water was dirty, Jarryd from Fix it right plumbing came had a look, worked out what he had to do than he told me how much it was going to cost, so I agreed, than he did the work. I found he was friendly, after he finished he cleaned up & made sure there were no problems & there was water in all the taps, shower & toilet. There is no charge for coming from Geelong. I will be getting them again & I recommend them.
