What they rang about: The customer got in touch because they had thirteen taps inside and outside that needed attention.
What Riley found: Riley found a mix of worn garden taps, basins, sinks, and shower tapware that needed upgrading.
What Riley did: Riley fitted brand new tapware throughout the house complete with fresh isolation valves and connection hoses, then tested everything to ensure it was all working properly.

What they rang about: A dripping pipe under the kitchen sink prompted the customer to call us before it damaged the timber floorboards.
What Riley found: Riley found that the dripping sink, worn drain, and old valves needed a complete replacement and reseal.
What Riley did: Riley stopped the leak by resealing the kitchen sink, replacing the drain, fitting new isolation valves, and testing everything.

Clearing a blocked ensuite sewer drain

What they rang about: The customer called because using the ensuite toilet caused sewer water to back up into the shower and room.
What Riley found: Riley found a sewer blockage caused by tree roots entering the pipework.
What Riley did: Riley removed the toilet, cleared the blockage using a high-pressure jet, inspected the drain with a camera, and then reinstalled and tested the toilet.

Blocked drains causing slow toilet and sink

What they rang about: Blocked drains were reported when a downstairs toilet and sink began draining very slowly with gurgling sounds.
What Riley found: The blocked drains were caused by tree roots in the mainline underneath the nature strip and road.
What Riley did: To clear the blocked drains, Riley used a sewer jet and camera, and contacted the water authority for their section so it flowed properly.

Fixing a Leaking Toilet Cistern

What they rang about: The customer reported that their toilet was leaking in the cistern.
What Riley found: Riley found the cistern inlet valve wasn't sealing properly, allowing water to run into the bowl due to high water pressure.
What Riley did: Riley replaced the faulty valve, installed a pressure regulator at the water meter, and upgraded the hot water and garden tap valves.

Leaking Toilet Causing Wall and Carpet Damage

What they rang about: The customer reported that the base of their toilet was leaking inside the wall and soaking into the carpet.
What Riley found: Upon investigation, Riley found the toilet was leaking from the cistern bolts and dripping onto the floor, causing water to run into the wall and skirting boards.
What Riley did: Riley performed a full toilet service with new internal parts and a new pan bend, reinstalled the toilet, replaced the hot water service PTR valve, and installed a pressure-reducing valve.

Thorough Shower Leak Detection and Insurance Report

What they rang about: The customer called us out because they suspected a leak in their shower basin and pipes behind the wall, and needed a report for their insurer.
What Riley found: Riley found the pipes behind the wall were completely fine, but the shower screen and base weren't sealed properly, which was letting water leak out into the carpet.
What Riley did: Riley ran a series of pressure, drain, and flood tests to trace the issue and put together a comprehensive report for their insurance company.

What they rang about: A customer contacted us about clearing a blocked drain and doing a camera inspection.
What Riley found: Riley found a blocked sewer drain that required clearing.
What Riley did: To clear the blocked drain, Riley removed the toilet for access, used a high-pressure jet, and reinstalled everything.
