Richie Foster, Fix-It Right Plumbing

Plumbers in Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit and Truganina

Hoppers Crossing and the suburbs around it sit in Melbourne's booming west, where established Hoppers Crossing meets the enormous new estates of Tarneit and Truganina, two of the fastest-growing suburbs in the country. We work across all three.

Over the last two years we've done more than 100 jobs around Hoppers Crossing. Hoppers Crossing itself has plenty of settled homes from the last few decades, while Tarneit and Truganina are almost entirely new builds. That shapes the work: drains and pipe repairs in the older streets, and hot water, taps and install issues in the new estates.

With so much new housing, a lot of what we do here is straightforward, a hot water system, a leaking tap, something not quite right from the build. Where there are older drains, we find out what's actually behind a blockage rather than just clearing it.

Whatever the job, from hot water to a blocked drain or a burst pipe, we fix the cause, not just the symptom. That's been the Fix-It Right way since Richie started the business in 2007.

The same plumber, start to finish

The plumber who comes out and works out what's wrong is the one who fixes it, and he stays with your job from start to finish until it's done properly, top to bottom. We don't send one person to look and another to do the work, and we never pull your plumber off your job to chase the next call. Not many plumbing companies anywhere are that strict about it, and it's why the job gets done right the first time.

Hoppers Crossing plumbing questions

I'm in a brand-new Tarneit or Truganina home, do you work on new builds?

Definitely, it's a big part of our work out here. Tarneit and Truganina are almost all new housing, and the common calls are hot water systems, taps and the occasional thing left over from the original build. These are usually quick to sort.

Who's my water authority in Hoppers Crossing?

Greater Western Water covers Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit and Truganina. If the issue is at the meter or the sewer connection at the street, that's their responsibility, and we'll help you work out what's yours and what's theirs before any work starts.

My hot water's gone in Hoppers Crossing, can you help quickly?

Usually yes. We carry the common hot water systems on the vans, so if yours can't be repaired we can often have a new one in and running the same day, sized to your household.

Can you sort something that wasn't done right when my estate home was built?

Yes. In the fast-built new estates out here we do sometimes see things that weren't quite right first time. We find the problem, show you what's going on, and put it right properly.

How quickly can you get to Hoppers Crossing?

The west is a regular patch, so Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit and Truganina are well covered.
