Happy with Fix it right plumbing I live in St.Leonards, I had a problem with my rusty galvenised pipes & my water was dirty, Jarryd from Fix it right plumbing came had a look, worked out what he had to do than he told me how much it was going to cost, so I agreed, than he did the work. I found he was friendly, after he finished he cleaned up & made sure there were no problems & there was water in all the taps, shower & toilet. There is no charge for coming from Geelong. We had a burst pipe that was flooding our living room a week before Christmas. After almost 6 weeks and 3 visits from other plumbers we cut our losses and found Adam at Fix It Right. Inside his first visit, Adam was able to detect the source of the leak and provided a set of options for us without any pressure or obligation for us to continue work with him. By the next day the entire issue was resolved — pipe located and repaired, excavation reinstated and preventative measures put in place to limit the likelihood of something similar happening again. A pipe burst under the house at 9.15 this morning so I called Fix It Right Plumbing and they had Brady here within a couple of hours. Very very happy with the service. We had an awful situation where we ran into a multitude of issues, all at once, led off by a burst pipe. We were lucky enough to have Thane from Fix It Right who was simply great to work with. He took the time to educate us on the situations. Fixed and replaced an external water pipe. Leaking and some old adjacent pipes. Used them previously to install a new gas infinity heating system. I opted to join their membership program which only cost me $10 after receiving a 15% discount on the plumbing work from joining. This also included a whole house inspection which Corey also completed, he explained issues and possible issues that may arise. I had a burst pipe emergency and Jack and his apprentice were able to come on the day. They turned up on time, they were polite, investigated the problem, explained the problem and gave a quote. We had a leak we couldn't find - looking at the water meter I could see a ton of water being used, but no idea where it was going. Arron and his apprentice came around the next day and tracked it down (under the driveway), then had it fixed and the drive patched by the end of the day - very professional, very thorough, and really hard workers. While Arron was there, he also gave me some advice on getting a separate long-running issue fixed (large amounts of water pooling under the foundations of the house). To fix it Arron and his guys put in an agi drain and a sump pump for us. It took three days underneath the house, and involved digging through lots of rock - hard work! They did a great job, the whole area is now in great shape. I'd definitely recommend these guys - I was impressed with their ability to solve a problem, walk through the options, then deliver on what they said they would.

We had Corey attend to a burst pipe incident at our home. Firstly Fit It Plumbing were very responsive and friendly during our initial contact and to arrange Corey to attend promptly. When Corey arrived we appreciated the initial assessment, indicative repair quote and subsequent repair work executed which were all done professionally and transparently. I called fixitright plumbing to get a leaking pipe to an outdoor tap fixed. The pipe was emerging from under the house through a ventilation grate. Corey had to cut out a section of the ventilation grate to access the pipe rather than crawling under the house which at that point is very low to the ground. He installed a new section of pipe and tap and relocated the tap at a better height for access. I am totally puzzled how he fixed the ventilation grate because I can’t see any joins. He also checked out my other taps -my home is 50 years old - and replaced old taps that had become stiff and virtually unusable. As well he fixed my kitchen sink taps that needed servicing. I was not sure whether my hot water service pressure valve had been replaced in the last six years and he took the time to ascertain that it had, thus avoiding unnecessarily replacing it. I am delighted with his work. He is cheerful, courteous and very helpful and efficient. I certainly recommend fixitright!

Michael is a true champion! We had a burst pipe which was initially difficult to locate. However, Michael meticulously used all the tools in his plumbing arsenal to locate the burst, smashed away brick and fixed the burst, which he described as one of the hardest plumbing jobs he's ever done. He even won over my tradie averse dad who then wanted all the faulty ancient taps in the house to be replaced. Corey attended the job to fix my burst copper water pipe under the floor stumped cavity during the cold wet rainy day . He needed to crawl under the floor cavity full of spider/cob webs, not to mention the muddy path due to the burst pipe. He fixed the pipe quickly without any complaint even though he was crawling out covered in mud after that. After fixing the pipe, he then did a nitrogen leak test to ensure no more leakages. He suspected that this problem could be due to the high water pressure from the main. A water pressure test subsequently confirmed that and he recommended a water pressure regulator to be installed on the main meter tab. He returned the next day to install it. The parts used are those higher end, higher quality parts (not those cheap parts you get from Bunnings). As for the labour charges , it was a bit on the expensive side in my opinion, so I gave it 3 stars.

My housemate and I recently had a pipe leak in Our Frankston North house. Joseph P came out and was super helpful and friendly, explained the issue to us and fixed it on the spot! Couldn’t have asked for a better service and would highly recommend Joseph and his team!

Jack arrived punctually to assess the corrosion and leaks in our old galvanised water main and the state of all cold and hot water pipes under the house. He also checked all the taps and toilets etc to see if they were all in good working order. Jack was able to give us a cost estimate on the spot and a definite date for the repairs. On the appointed day, Jack and Adam turned up early with their bobcat excavator and by the afternoon, the cold water system was all working again. The hot water pipes including the 17 year old hot water heater were replaced the next day. The pipe replacement required Jack to crawl into and work in very tight spaces under the house, spaces probably only about a foot high. Regardless of the difficulty, he was consistently cheerful and helpful when I needed clarification. Jack was absolutely right, the lack of pressure, especially in the garden taps was the result of the build up of rust inside the galvanized pipes. We didn't expect this, and so were surprised when Jack took off for a while and returned with bags of potting mix and lawn seeds which he scattered over the entire excavated area, leveled it and even watered it! I had a broken sewer and water pipe pierced by an underground NBN cable installation gone wrong. Hector was very helpful, friendly and professional to locate the problem, dig a metre down and fix the problem with ease by attaching a new piece of pipe to the original by using sleeves. He was also able to locate a further non related issue further along where two pipes had separated. The following day, he was joined by Richard and Adam who made up a compound and pushed it through to where the problem was. The compound hardens around the break to then harden to be harder than the pipe itself. They were able to locate and repair using a camera and light pushed through the existing pipes to locate and troubleshoot any other issues. They were very transparent and open in explaining what had happened, the ramifications if left unchecked and happily imparted their knowledge and explained what they were doing willingly. I will use them again without hesitation should the need arise for any job, big or small. They were happy to travel to Blairgowrie to fix the issue and I can’t thank them enough.Well done guys!

I had a new outdoor hose installed after mess was left from a burst water pipe. James handled the job with care using quality materials. Moved into new home with water drainage issues on property as there are no storm drainage pipes in the area. Fix it Right plumbing came to assess the sewerage and plumbing works and raised issues on various plumbing works and recommended fixes to these. Work started immediately. Jack from the company painstakingly did all the cautious digging and installation of the drainage pipes, spoon drainage etc. He also installed stormwater drains to prevent water clogging up on land around the house. Also did a good job on instal of kitchen mixer in a tight situation and instal of pressure regulator. Jack also ran pipes around to instal tap at deck at rear of house and to help run water off the water tanks in case of overflow. Jack was very easy going and also helped with issues around the house that were not part of the job. We had leaking pipe/tap in the kitchen, and we used Fix It Right's online forms to book a request for a plumber to come out urgently. Shanae from FIR was on the phone to me within 5 minutes locking in a time for one of their plumbers to come out to us. Chris came to us at the agreed time, replaced our tap, and also fixed some other plumbing issues we'd been putting off for a while. All in all we were happy with the end result, and felt FIR were very responsive to our needs.

Pros: Polite customer service & punctual attendance. Cons: Expensive service & the initial problem was not fixed. We initially called Fix It Right Plumbing due to a leaking pipe under our kitchen sink. After the first inspection we had several pipes replaced resulting in a bill of nearly $500 After 12 hours we started using our sink again (as instructed by the plumber), however we noticed that the pipe was still leaking. We did the right thing and contacted the company and gave them another chance to fix the problem. The plumber came out a second time and applied silicon to the pipes however the following day we noticed that the pipe was still leaking. My husband ended up buying silicon from Bunnings and sealed the leak himself. All in all we're disappointed with the result, and stressed that we wasted so much money. UPDATE 23/10 I would like to thank Richard and Chris for their prompt response regarding my original concerns. I'm happy to note that the problem has been fixed! Chris came out on Friday the 19/10 and amended everything from start to finish. Very thorough work & committed customer service. Chris was absolutely wonderful to deal with! Had a fantastic result after having a burst pipe under our driveway on the long weekend. Jason found the issue and gave great advice on the remedy. Came home after job was completed to find that Jason had found a less intrusive way to replace the pipe without cutting up the driveway and trenched across the lawn then patched it all up and even hosed down the driveway after finishing. Fabulous job done at our property over the past 3 days. Elderly neighbour asked for help with a burst water pipe. A 10cm section, on external wall, not a difficult job. Googled a few local plumbers and found Fix It Right. Their plumber Chris came knocking within 2 hours. Burst section was replaced with new copper pipe. All good to go within 20 mins. My elderly neighbour was happy.
