Carrum Downs is home for us. Our base is right here, the vans head out from Carrum Downs every morning, so when something goes wrong in Carrum Downs, Skye, Patterson Lakes or Carrum, we're not a plumber driving in from the other side of Melbourne. We're coming from around the corner, and no one knows this patch better.
Over the last two years we've done more than 500 jobs around Carrum Downs, close to 300 in the last twelve months alone. That's more work than we do in any other Melbourne area. It's not a number we chase, it's just what being the genuine local plumber looks like: hundreds of jobs on our own streets, year after year, for neighbours we'll run into at the shops.
The area's a real mix, and each part throws up its own kind of work. Around the established parts of Carrum Downs and Skye it's the everyday family-home jobs, hot water, taps, toilets and the occasional blocked drain. Out at Patterson Lakes, the waterfront and canal homes come with their own considerations, low-lying ground, water close by, and plumbing that has to be right. Carrum is the older beachside end, where we see more aging pipework, and the newer estates like Sandhurst are mostly hot water and tap work. We're close enough to get to an urgent job quickly, and because we're not travelling far, there's a good chance one of our plumbers is already working just down the road when you call.
