The Bellarine Peninsula is a busy patch for us, from Leopold through Drysdale, Clifton Springs and out to Portarlington. It's a mix of established homes, coastal towns and fast-growing new estates, and we're across the area regularly.
Over the last two years we've done nearly 200 jobs around Leopold. The work runs the full range: blocked drains, hot water, taps and toilets. Leopold itself is growing fast with new estates, while the coastal towns like Clifton Springs and Portarlington have their own mix of older and newer homes.
In the newer estates it's mostly hot water, taps and the occasional install issue. In the older and coastal homes, drains and aging pipework come into it more, and tree roots can be behind a blockage. Either way, we find the actual cause rather than just clearing it.

What actually goes wrong in Leopold homes
Hot water is the most common call we get around Leopold, Drysdale and the Bellarine. In Leopold, Jarryd replaced a gas hot water system that had burst behind a unit, and fitted a pressure limiting valve at the meter to protect the new one. The common systems travel on our vans, so a warm shower isn't days away.

Most people put up with a dripping tap until they work out what it's wasting. In St Leonards, Lachie found the inside of a kitchen mixer had completely failed, replaced it, repaired the garden tap and fitted a pressure limiting valve, because high pressure is often why taps wear out in the first place.

Tree roots are much less of a problem across the Bellarine than in Geelong's older suburbs, so a blocked drain around Leopold, Drysdale or Portarlington is usually something stuck or a pipe that's dropped. A camera shows us which, so you get the right fix the first time.

A burst pipe can do a lot of damage in the time it takes to find the stop tap. Shut the water off at the meter, then give us a ring. We'll find the burst, fix it properly and check the water pressure, because pressure that's too high is a common reason pipes let go.
