Richmond and the inner-city suburbs around it are dense, historic and always busy, a mix of old terraces, converted warehouses and new apartments. We work across Richmond, Abbotsford, Cremorne and Burnley, and inner-city plumbing has its own character.
Over the last two years we've done around 100 jobs in the Richmond area. Blocked drains are the most common, which fits tightly-packed older housing with original pipework and not much room to work. The terraces here are among Melbourne's oldest, many Victorian-era.
In old inner-city streets, a blocked drain is often about the age and condition of the pipes as much as anything else, roots get into aging joints, and decades of use take their toll. We find out what's actually causing a blockage rather than just clearing it, which matters most where the pipework is this old.
Whatever the job, from a blocked drain to a hidden leak or a hot water system, we fix the cause, not just the symptom. That's been the Fix-It Right way since Richie started the business in 2007.

The plumber who comes out and works out what's wrong is the one who fixes it, and they stay with your job from start to finish until it's done properly, top to bottom. We don't send one person to look and another to do the work, and we never pull your plumber off your job to chase the next call.
