Belmont and the suburbs around it are the heart of our Geelong work. From the established streets of Belmont and Highton through to the fast-growing new estates of Grovedale and Armstrong Creek, it's an area we're in almost every day.
Over the last two years we've done nearly 1,000 jobs around Belmont, close to 500 in the last twelve months alone. That makes it one of our busiest patches anywhere. The work runs the full range, because the area does: older homes in Belmont and Highton throwing up drain and pipe problems, and new estate homes in Armstrong Creek and Grovedale needing hot water, taps and the occasional install issue sorted.
When a drain blocks in the older parts, tree roots are often behind it, the established gardens and older sewer lines give them a way in. In the newer estates it's rarely roots and more often something straightforward. Either way, we find the actual cause rather than just clearing a blockage, so it's sorted for good.

Quick and efficient
Jarryd was very helpful with an investigation into water leaking in our kitchen. He found the issue and supplied us with recommendations.
We knew we had pretty severe pipe problems, but a blocked toilet is why we got in touch with Fix It Right plumbing. Jarryd came and unblocked the toilet and we finally got at least some of the pipes relined. Jarryd explained everything to me the whole time, there were no hidden surprises. I found Jarryd to be punctual, they even came a day early as there was a cancellation. He was very clear with what they were doing and why. Great service and professional finish.
Jarryd and Ryan came out to help with a blocked sink and they were very good. Explained everything in depth and checked all other things to make sure everything was working well, not just fix the sink. Will definitely keep them again!

Arron was a great help, on time professional and gave good advice.
The plumber who comes out and works out what's wrong is the one who fixes it, and they stay with your job from start to finish until it's done properly, top to bottom. We don't send one person to look and another to do the work, and we never pull your plumber off your job to chase the next call. Not many plumbing companies anywhere are that strict about it, and it's why the job gets done right the first time.

View Jared’s profileJared quoted me a reasonable price on fixing a squashed and broken stormwater pipe under my driveway. I saw with my own eyes the state of it through the pipe exploration camera. He warned me up front that the state of pipe upstream was unknown as we couldn't see that far with the camera. Jared did not manipulate or pressure me into going ahead with this high cost work (it was going to be costly whoever did the work). He simply gave me the facts calmly and left it up to me to make a decision in my own time. I asked the order of cost involved if the squashed pipe extended all the way to the downpipes. He gave me a very rough indication which helped me brace myself and fed into my decision about what to do and when. Communication was excellent with the whole team with Tamara patiently rescheduling until I could get the work done, and the e-mails with the photos and details of the plumbers I could expect to see at my home on the day gave me a sense of safety that whoever was showing up at my door was who I was expecting. When the work was being done, we discovered that more of the pipe upstream was squashed. I give Jared high praise for his matter-of-fact approach in showing me the state of what was found, then calmly explained what I was seeing, what could be done, and then was quiet. This gave me emotional and mental space to react to and process the bad news and quickly decide next steps (which I could do because I was already informed up front before any work began). I decided to get it all fixed. This changed the scope of work significantly, but, Jared and the team swung into action to quickly organise an additional plumber and bring in more equipment to get the job done. It took two days instead of one because of the scope increasing, and I was relieved it was done in two days in a row and not having to wait for weeks between one day and the next before the entire job was completed. To prevent squashing, they laid the pipes in a nest of supporting gravel. I'm grateful to the Fix-it-Right team for helping me with this plumbing problem so professionally and with integrity; it was expensive, but there were several areas in which Fix-it-Right were able to provide me with a discount or otherwise bring down the price for me - and the cost was around the ball-park Jared roughly guesstimated up-front (I had asked for an indication, not a fixed price quote, because it wasn't possible at the time because the situation was unknown). I did not feel at any point that I was getting held over a financial barrel - which they could have done, but they did not. I appreciate that more than I can say. I have no hesitation in recommending Jared and the Fix-it-Right Plumbing team - they are genuinely helpful and are not out to extract maximum profit from their customers - I felt genuinely helped in this unfortunate situation (never get a house without having a plumber look into ALL the pipes with a camera folks, because Building Inspectors don't). Even if Fix-it-Right were to charge a bit more than some other plumber, I will still go with them for the peace of mind and ease of working with them. Now I can enjoy hearing the rain fall without worrying about it slowly eroding the ground under the house foundations - because it won't be because the plumbing has been Fixed Right.
